For travellers from the UK

Ramadan Umrah Packages from the UK

Perform Umrah in the blessed month of Ramadan, with accommodation close to the Haram, transport and ziyarat planned around fasting, prayer and rest. Every Ramadan Umrah package is tailored to your travel dates, hotel preferences and group size, and quoted individually.

Umrah in Ramadan, Planned Around You

Ramadan is one of the most special times to perform Umrah, and many pilgrims hope to be in Makkah for it. You can read more about its reward, the crowds and the weather in our guide to the best time for Umrah.

It is also the busiest time of year in Makkah and Madinah. Hotels near the Haram fill up early, and days are shaped around fasting, iftar, Taraweeh and suhoor. We don’t sell one fixed package. We listen to when you want to travel and who is travelling with you, then arrange accommodation, transport and ziyarat that let you focus on worship.

Our packages cover your arrangements in Saudi Arabia: accommodation, transport, ziyarat and guidance. Flights can be included on request, or you can book them yourself.

What a Ramadan Umrah Package Can Include

Choose the services you need. Your quote will only include what you ask for.

Hotels Close to the Haram

Help finding accommodation in Makkah and Madinah within easy reach of the two Holy Mosques, which matters most in Ramadan, when you may walk to the mosque several times a day and night. Hotels and room types are subject to availability. See how our hotel booking assistance works.

Airport and City Transport

Transfers from Jeddah Airport to Makkah, road transport between Makkah and Madinah, and local journeys during your stay, timed around iftar, prayers and rest, with private, family, group and VIP options.

Ziyarat

Visits to places of religious and historical significance in Makkah and Madinah, as well as Jeddah and Taif, planned at times that fit around fasting. See our ziyarat tours.

Umrah Guidance

Practical guidance to help you prepare for Umrah and understand each stage of your journey.

Planning Your Ramadan Umrah

Book as Early as You Can

Ramadan is the peak season for Umrah. Hotels close to the Haram, transport and your Umrah permit through the Nusuk app are all in high demand, so planning early gives you more choice. The dates of Ramadan move earlier each year in the Gregorian calendar, so check the expected dates before you plan. Planning ahead? See our Umrah packages for 2027. If you would prefer a quieter time of year, see our seasonal Umrah packages.

Choosing Which Part of Ramadan to Travel

Some pilgrims travel for the whole month, while others choose part of it:

  • The first part of Ramadan is usually less crowded than the end of the month.
  • The middle of Ramadan can be a balance between crowds and availability.
  • The last ten nights are the busiest time of the year in the Haram, as many pilgrims hope to spend them in worship and seek Laylat al-Qadr. Hotels for these nights fill up first.

Fasting, Rest and Prayer Times

In Ramadan, your daily routine follows suhoor, iftar and the night prayers. Many pilgrims perform Tawaf and Sa’i at night, after iftar or late after Taraweeh, when it is cooler and they have eaten. Plan rest during the day, drink plenty of water between iftar and suhoor, and allow extra time to reach the mosque before prayers.

Staying for Eid al-Fitr

Some pilgrims choose to stay in Makkah or Madinah for Eid al-Fitr at the end of Ramadan. The Eid prayer in the Haram draws very large crowds, so if you plan to stay, tell us when you request your quote so we can plan your accommodation and transport around it.

Choosing Your Accommodation in Ramadan

In Ramadan, being close to the Haram makes a real difference. A shorter walk makes it easier to reach the mosque for Taraweeh, return for suhoor and rest between prayers, especially for elderly relatives and families with children.

When you request a quote, tell us how close you would like to be, the room type, whether you need meals such as suhoor or iftar, and how many nights you plan to spend in each city. We will look for options that match and include them in your quote. For more help choosing where to stay, read our guide to Makkah and Madinah hotels.

Visa Information

Before you book, check which visa route applies to you. Requirements depend on your nationality and where you live, and they can change, so always confirm the latest information through official Saudi sources before you travel. For more detail on the official routes, see our Umrah visa guide.

Pricing & What Affects Your Quote

We don’t publish fixed prices because every Ramadan Umrah package is built around the traveller.

Prices in Ramadan change with demand, the hotel, how close it is to the Haram and which part of the month you travel. Instead of a fixed price, we prepare a quote based on your dates and plans, so it only includes the services you choose.

The main factors are which part of Ramadan you travel, the number of nights, the hotels and room types you choose, the number of travellers, the type of vehicle, whether you add ziyarat, and whether you stay for Eid. The last ten nights are usually the most in demand.

Our packages cover your arrangements in Saudi Arabia: hotels, transport, ziyarat and guidance. Most UK pilgrims book their own flights, and we plan everything around their arrival and departure times. If you would like help with flight tickets, ask us on WhatsApp.

We normally send quotes via WhatsApp, or by email at makahmadina591@gmail.com if needed.
